ARCH Residency in Anacostia, Washington DC

I made a series of playful interventions  around Anacostia as part of my final week in Washington DC. Click on the image above to visit my Washington DC blog. These events are part of the ARCH Residency supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Golden Thread and Honfleur Galleries. Also taking part were fellow Belfast artists Johanna Leech and Lesley Cherry.

Sinéad Bhreathnach-Cashell is an urban tumbleweed with magpie tendencies. Working in many media forms; drawing, installaction, film and sculpture, she can be encountered with playmates or alone, plundering Belfast, making playful interventions in search of a beach under the pavement. This website details her current activities and showcases select documentation of her practice.
