Bravo Serotonin Part 1: Construction

This February Sinéad will be participating in the latest Good Hatchery project Bravo Serotonin. Part 1 of the  project involves 24 national and international cultural practitioners from varied disciplines who will be collectively constructing a boat. Over the course of a fortnight a South American styled canoe will be carved from a large tree [seen above] felled by Hurricane Katia. Bravo Serotonin is time tabled to take place in the most challenging of winter conditions. After a series of test trips, the vessel will then voyage to various locations using the Irish canal network as its main infrastructure of travel. The locations and reasons for these expeditions will be decided collectively- as will the future of the project and boat.
