Sinéad Bhreathnach-Cashell was the MPRA resident artist alongside Hannah Champion in November 2011. During this month she delivered a series of workshops and lectures as part of MPRA and the 4th NO WOMEN NO ART Festival. Real and imagined architectures within Poznan were investigated through shared conversation and making. In addition to these public presentations she amassed a collection of images and observations of her surroundings.
The International Artist in Residence Programme (MPRA) aims to facilitate dialogue, exchange of experience and skills across not only geographical or ethnic boundaries but also transgressing boundaries of various disciplines of art, culture and science.
Sinéad Bhreathnach-Cashell and Hannah Champion were the first MPRA Artists in Residence.
